The Outdoor Walking Trail which includes 7.5 miles of paved surface intertwining through the city incorporating the Continental Divide trail, the downtown Main Street , and the historic Old Frontier Prison grounds.
Rawlins Uplift Interpretive Trail walk from Rawlins Springs to Rawlins Uplift with signs about local history, geology and more.
The Recreation Center keeps fitness indoors with walking track, 3 gymnasiums, weight room, racquetball courts, and fitness equipment for a great workout. Classes and programs for adult and youth are supported by the center keeping the community active through softball, basketball, soccer and youth football. Outdoor Community Shooting Range located north of Rawlins 1.5 miles with skeet, trap, rifle, pistol and archery. Open summer months Facebook
Indoor Pistol Range located at the Recreation Center, 1616 Harshman, offers 9 automated lanes for .22 rifle and most pistols. Open winter months. Facebook
Rochelle Ranch Golf Course is 18 holes of award winning play for any golfer. Open April to October with Pro Shop, driving range , restaurant and a great view of Wyoming. Facebook
Parks throughout the community host certified playground equipment, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, bathroom facilities, pavilions for large events and great grassy areas for play.
Sports Fields for soccer, football, softball and baseball are managed by the Parks and Recreation Department. Fields are open for use with leagues, clubs and organizations working together.
Art Tour "A Walk through Carbon County History" in downtown Rawlins with over 20 Pieces of art displayed outdoors. Historic Downtown Rawlins stroll through over 20 independently owned unique shops and 8 locally owned restaurants. TRAVEL STORY'S

Night Under the Stars, August 12 at Washington Park featuring the music of Cuarenta y Cinco. Bring a chair and your dancing shoes for this great evening of live entertainment. 7pm to 9pm.
Latino Heritage Celebration - Downtown Depot Park, August 13, 2022. 6pm to 10pm with crafts, dancing, food, piñata building contest, food and live music. Live Music will be playing from 8pm to 10pm. Bring a chair, bring a cooler, bring your friends and neighbors. Enjoy the Afternoon.
