The Saratoga, Encampment, Rawlins Conservation District in cooperation with the Rawlins True Value, Rawlins Department of Recreation Services, Barnyards and Backyards program and the Carbon
County Higher Education Center is hosting a Tree Pruning Clinic April 6th at the Carbon County Fair Grounds.
Registration begins 8:30am. Classroom clinic at 9am with a practical clinic following. The clinic will be ending around noon.
There is no fee for this clinic. The first 20 participants receive hand pruners and folding saws.
The practical will include trimming the trees lining the Spruce side of the Fair Grounds. Classroom instruction will be led by Mark Huges, Community Forestry Coordinator for the Wyoming State Forestry Division. The practical clinic will be led by Dan Mika, ISA Certified Arborist.
