City Council Meeting 2025 Design - new time

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Tuesday, February 3, 2026 Regular Council Meeting and Work Session beginning at 6:00 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at https://go.boarddocs.com/wy/rawlins/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=DP7RP36E89E1 Meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube.

Council items include:

  • Public Hearings and Second Readings of Ordinances to Approve Utility Franchises for Two Companies: Visionary Communications and All West/Wyoming Inc. 
  • Accept Five Undeveloped Parcels in the Industrial Section of Rawlins as a Future Location the City Asphalt Plant and Pay Outstanding Property Taxes  
  • Approve Resolution in Support of a Destination District Celebrating the Convergence of Historic and Recreational Routes 
  • Approve Appointment of Laura Malone, Finance Director to the Specific Purpose Joint Powers Board to represent the City of Rawlins
  • Approve Resignation from Rawlins Shooting Range Advisory Board and Specify DDA Board Terms 
  • Discussion of Water Rates 
  • Presentation of February Community Builder Award 
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Payroll, and Accounts Payable 
  • Reports from City Manager and Staff, City Attorney, and City Council 
  • Executive Session - per WY Statute 16-4-405(a)(ii & ix). This may include action after the executive session.     
  • Work Session: Ayres Report on Brownfield Community Assessment Grant 

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizens’ Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted during council discussion. To address the Council, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor.

Rawlins Regular City Council Meeting times were updated in September 2025. They are now held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Work sessions are occasionally held afterwards.
