Cedar Street. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube.
Council items include:
- Public Hearing and Approval of Proposed Suspension of Buck’s Sports Grill Liquor License due to Nonpayment of Sales Tax for 60+ days
- Public Hearing and Second Reading of Rezoning of 12 Properties between Spruce Street and the Municipal Boundary and between 23rd and 19th Street from Residential 7.5 to Commercial C-2
- Approve Resolution, Offer, and Appointment of Interim City Manager Matthew J Hall
- Accept a Perpetual Easement through Trails End Mobile Home Park for Road and Utility Access on Edinburgh Street starting on Murray Street and running approximately ~950 feet north
- First Reading of an Ordinance to Amend Title 19 to Add and Clarify Definitions for Multiple Industrial Uses and to Amend and Clarify Fencing Requirements
- Discussion of VFW Baseball Field Renovations
- Proclamation of Domestic Violence Awareness Month
- Presentation of September Community Builder Award
- Reports from Acting City Manager and Staff, City Attorney, and City Council
- Approve Agenda, Minutes, Payroll, and Accounts Payable
- Executive Session - per WY Statute 16-4-405(a)(ii &ix). This may include action after the executive session.
NOTE: The Rawlins City Council has a Work Session regarding a Biennial Review of DDA & City Goals scheduled for October 13th at 6pm at Rawlins Downtown Development Authority, 116 4th Street, Upstairs.
Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted during council discussion. To address the Council, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor.

Rawlins Regular City Council Meeting times were updated in September 2025. They are now held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Work sessions are occasionally held afterwards.
