Want to make a difference in our community?  Share your experience and input by serving on one of the City's boards and commissions. The City of Rawlins Council is accepting applications for citizens interested in serving on the following boards, commissions, and committees: 

Currently Vacant—Please apply for the following vacant positions by March 26th for the City Council to consider your application on April 2nd. 

Board of Adjustments 

  • Unexpired Term till January 31, 2026
  • Unexpired Term till January 31, 2025 

Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee 

  • 6th – 8th Grade Positions; one member and one alternate - positions available for both the current and next school year
  • 9th – 12th Grade Positions; one member and one alternate - positions available for both the current and next school year

Urban Systems Committee

  • One Four-Year Term of January 31, 2024 to January 31, 2028  

Expiring - Please apply for the following expiring positions by April 9th for the City Council to consider your application on April 16th, 2024. 

Old Pen Joint Powers Board 

  • Two Three-Year Terms of May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2027
