Council Upcoming Meetings Notice

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Work Session and Regular Meeting on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at www.rawlinswy.gov/boarddocs. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. Council meetings are held in Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. 

 Council items include:  

  • Work Session re: Towing, Wrecking Salvage Storage Yards (Definitions) & Fencing 
  • Approve MOU with Memorial Hospital of Carbon County for Ambulance Transport/Medical Services 
  • 2023 Employee of the 3rd Quarter 
  • Presentation of the November Community Building Award to Abby Perry
  • Rawlins DDA/Main Street Board Resignation 
  • Reports from Old Pen Joint Powers Board, City Manager, Staff, and Council
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Accounts Payable, and Payroll 

If you have concerns or questions regarding an item on the agenda, you are always welcome to reach out to the presenting staff members, council members (http://rawlinswy.org/178/City-Council), or Mira Miller, Community Relations Manager/PIO at 307-328-4500 ext. 1022. 

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted after council discussion. To address the Council during Citizen’s Participation or at other times during the meeting, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor. Comments made on social media before or during the meetings are not an official way of communicating with the governing body. We do not consistently monitor comments on the live stream of the meeting except to check on the sound levels or for other technical issues.

Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are often held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
