It's National National Public Works Week 2021 and we are learning about a new division every day, as well as hosting fun challenges on our Facebook page!
Our Utilities Division maintains 120 miles of water lines, 90 miles of sewer lines and all of the storm sewer infrastructure in Rawlins. Utilities currently consists of 8 full time employees whose duties range from repairing water breaks, cleaning sewer lines, hydrant repairs/replacements, cleaning catch basins, pedestrian tubes and much more. Our staff is on call 24-7, 365 and work in all weather conditions. They keep our water flowing and our toilets flushing. Thank you to our Utilities employees.
