The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 20th at 7:30pm are now available on BoardDocs at http://rawlinswy.org/boarddocs. The Work Session has been cancelled so that Council can attend the Vern and Della Vivion Memorial Bronze Ewe and Lambs Ribbon Cutting at 6:00pm at the Historic Depot at 400 W. Front Street. The public is encouraged to attend both events.
The agenda items include the trailer parking ordinance, fence ordinance, contractor’s license ordinance, Trick or Treat on Downtown Streets street closure, Employee of the Quarter and more. Council is accepting written feedback pertaining to the trailer parking ordinance until Monday at 4:00pm. These written statements may be provided in a multitude of ways:
• Mailed to City Clerk, P.O. Box 953, Rawlins, WY 82301
• Dropped off to City Hall at 521 W. Cedar to the Finance Department or in the Utility Bill dropbox in the alley behind City Hall
• Dropped off to Public Works at 915 3rd Street
• Submitted via email to crelations@rawlins-wyoming.com
• Submitted via the website at http://www.rawlinswy.org/requesttracker.aspx to City Hall: City Clerk.
Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30p. Council meetings are aired live on Channel 191 (Spectrum), on Facebook live (barring tech problems) and posted to YouTube afterwards.
With current guidelines, only 50 people can enter the council chambers at one time. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak to council. In the event that seating is full, any person wishing to speak may notify the City Clerk or City Manager before the meeting.
