An Open House to review the Draft Comprehensive Plan
In order to keep pace with anticipated change and to ensure the city grows in the direction that is desired, the City of Rawlins Comprehensive General Plan is being updated.
The new plan takes a critical look at the future of the city, addressing traditional and new growth patterns, land use and zoning issues, community design, parks and recreation, and other critical elements of our evolving city.
The intent of the plan is to establish a vision that will guide future growth and development for the next ten years and beyond.
Join us at a Draft Plan Open House on Wednesday, November 12th at The Depot ( 400 West Front Street) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to review the draft and to provide your input.
In addition to the Comprehensive Plan, consultants will be seeking your input and comment on the City of Rawlins Transportation Master Plan, which is being prepared concurrently with the Comprehensive Plan.
Light refreshments will be served, and day care provided for those with small children (10 years old and under).
