We had a very special guest at City Council this week! Justin Parker, a Rawlins High School Senior, is spending this semester job-shadowing with City Attorney Pinita Maberry-Nave. He joined the City Attorney and City Manager at the meeting on November 18th. Justin shared with the City Council that the experience has opened his eyes to how much there is to learn about city government and legal work—and that it’s far more than just traffic tickets! He hopes to become a lawyer one day and is already gaining valuable experience. Thanks for joining us, Justin and best wishes for your future!
