The Rawlins City Council has appointed Pamela Thayer as Acting City Manager on a temporary basis during City Manager Thomas Sarvey’s absence. Ms. Thayer will handle routine administrative duties and carry out the direction of the City Council. Policy decisions and leadership personnel matters will remain with the City Council.
The City Council and staff are keeping City Manager Thomas Sarvey and his family close in our thoughts during this time. We wish him a speedy recovery and return.
Pam Thayer brings nearly 20 years of experience with the City of Rawlins as the Executive Director of the Rawlins Downtown Development Authority (DDA). While she serves in this temporary role, city staff will provide additional support to keep DDA projects moving forward.
