Council Upcoming Meetings Notice

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at www.rawlinswy.gov/boarddocs. There is no work session. 

The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. Council meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street.

Council items include:  

  • Public Hearing and Approve - Special Use Permit for an In-Home Daycare at 2228 Cutty Sark 
  • Award Design of Sage Creek Springs Collection Boxes Rehabilitation 
  • Catering Permit for Rifleman Club Bar for Sinclair/Parco Centennial Celebration on August 17 
  • Waive Plan Review and Permit Fees for 548 15th Street for Cathy Gardens $4.7M Remodel 
  • Employee of the Second Quarter and July Community Builder Award
  • Proclamation of the 41st Annual National Night Out on August 6th 
  • Appointment to the Parks & Recreation Committee 
  • Reports from the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee, City Manager, City Attorney, and Council
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Accounts Payable, and Payroll 
  • Executive Session per Wyoming Statute 16-4-405(a)(ii, ix, and xii) 
  • No Work Session

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted after council discussion. To address the Council during Citizen’s Participation or at other times during the meeting, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor. Comments made on social media before or during meetings are not an official way of communicating with the governing body. We do not consistently monitor comments on the live stream of the meeting except to check on the sound levels or for other technical issues.

Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are sometimes held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
