The Fire Department will be doing HAZMAT training, including fire trucks and the HAZMAT trailer, on Wednesday, October 25th at 6pm at the Ball Fields across from the Rec Center (1616 Harshman) This is a drill only.
The City of Rawlins Fire Department is seeking volunteers to help provides their full array of emergency services. These include fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and fire inspections. In 2022, we responded to over 1,000 calls and amassed 4100 hours of training. Volunteer firefighters are offered training opportunities to become certified in each of these services.
