Council Upcoming Meetings Notice

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, at 7:30 pm is available on BoardDocs at www.rawlinswy.gov/boarddocs. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. Council meetings are held in Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. 

 Council items include:  

  • Third and Final Reading for Amending Title 19: Zoning 
  • Approve – Resolution for an ARPA Grant for the Design of Sage Creek Basin Collection Systems Replacements and Transmission Line Repairs/Replacements with a 51% Match 
  • Approve – Resolution to Use $341,310 from General Cash Reserve Account for APRA Grant for Design of Sage Creek Basin/Transmission Line 
  • Approve 24 Hour Catering Permit for Bucks in Saratoga, WY  
  • Proclamation for 40th Annual National Night Out on August 1st 
  • Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee Update to Council 
  • Reports from Interim Manager, Staff, and Council
  • Approve Minutes, Accounts Payable, and Payroll 
  • Executive Session per State Statute 16-4-405(ii, ix) 
  • No Work Session

 Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted after council discussion. To address the Council during Citizen’s Participation or at other times during the meeting, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor. Comments made on social media before or during the meetings are not an official way of communicating with the governing body. We do not consistently monitor comments on the live stream of the meeting except to check on the sound levels or for other technical issues.

 Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are often held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
