Sign up now to be entered into the venison lottery! If you are interested in receiving the meat from the urban deer cull, please apply at rawlinswy.org/urbandeer or in person at the Rawlins Police Department by October 31st.
Interested persons must be able to take the entire deer, approximately 30 – 40 pounds of hamburger with approximately 10% fat. There will not be any options of cuts or fat percentages. All meat will be tested for Chronic Wasting Disease.
Names of interested persons will be randomly selected after November 1, 2021 and added to the numbered distribution list. Those randomly selected must be able to pick up the meat during the distribution dates, which will be specified. Meat will not be held or stored after the distribution dates. If unable to pick up the meat, the next person on the list will be notified.
