Public Works Logo WWTP

It's National Public Works Week 2021 and we are learning about a new division every day, as well as hosting fun challenges on our Facebook page!

Our treatment plant division is comprised of Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment. We are THANKFUL for our water rights and high quality water. Last year we won best drinking water in Wyoming for 2020 and are hopeful to be the reigning champions this year as well. We are also THANKFUL for the land we have at our wastewater treatment plant to help us cycle the wastewater through all of the proper processes resulting in clean and safe water. Our treatment division currently consist of 4 full time employees, these employees are also on call 24-7, 365. They keep Rawlins on the map with a quality water supply and proper wastewater treatment. Thank you to our treatment employees. #NPWW #StrongerTogether

This Division also did an awesome experiment about what happens when you flush! Check it out at https://www.facebook.com/cityofrawlinspwcd/videos/309425990625573
