The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council work session and meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd at 7:30pm are now available on BoardDocs at http://rawlinswy.org/boarddocs. The work session will take place at 5:00 pm in council chambers. The public is encouraged to attend both events and both will be streamed via Facebook Live.
The work session is a presentation by Mr. Kim Johnson, National Flood Insurance Program Wyoming State Coordinator about the proposed floodplain changes by FEMA. Council agenda items include the fence ordinance, a board appointment, pipe replacement bid award, and more. Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are often held beforehand, typically at 6:00pm. Council work sessions and meetings are aired live on Channel 191 (Spectrum), on Facebook live (barring tech problems) and posted to YouTube afterwards.
With current guidelines, only 50 people can enter the council chambers at one time. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak to council. In the event that seating is full, any person wishing to speak may notify the City Clerk or City Manager before the meeting.
